so im still new to corals.. now what?
so i always said i would never want to keep coral, but now im hooked!!! so what should i be testing for now that i have corals in the tank??
my favorites are the pulsind xena stuf. i got the white stuf and some pink too. people say the xena is like the little canary miners use in the mine to tell if things are going bad. is that rite? and if yes then i think all is going well so far.
but what else should i be doing/testing to keep them all happy?

Watching your corals is a good way to tell if there is a problem, but you should still test your water atleast every 2 weeks. This way if there is a problem you can fix it easily, and its always nice to document your results. for example if you add a different media this week and next week you have high phosphates you can easily diagnose.
I would buy an all in one test kit, i wouldnt use the test strips.
tests you deffenitly need:
Nitrates
Nitrites
CA
ALK
Ammonia
PH
Phosphate (if you have algea or use tap water)
