The clown will choose to host when it wants to, if it likes the nem it will. Sometimes they wont even hose a nem.. They can choose to host other items in the tank.

Its where you get a picture of the same species of clowns in my case Ocellaris and the same species of nem (bubble tip)
And you tape it to the tank, they will build a bond with the picture and about %50 of the time they will start hosting soon after.
However the clowns i have aren't having it..
First pair of clowns i've ever had that wouldn't host a BTA

Try taping a picture of a shark on the tank, maybe they will jump in the nem for protection Laughing
